We’re doing it again!
Join us for an enchanting winter evening filled with magical bites, festive spirits, connections, music, and dancing.
OUR VISION
We see a future where, together, we have reshaped our economy and society through social entrepreneurship and innovation, bringing people from diverse backgrounds and professions together to build a more human-scale, networked, and sustainable economy and a better Frederick.
WHY IT MATTERS
A healthy, resilient local economy
Freelancers and micro-businesses (companies with fewer than 10 employees) serve as the bedrock of economic resilience by acting as shock absorbers, resource pools, innovation labs, and drivers of competitive markets.
Combating a loneliness epidemic
In 2023, the U.S. Surgeon General declared an epidemic of loneliness that impacts individuals’ health, happiness, and prosperity, as well as our society as a whole. We are social creatures by nature, not just in play but also in work.
PROGRAMS
BRAIN BOOST
This free monthly lunch & learn helps ensure equitable access to a wealth of knowledge and collaboratively builds expertise to catapult small businesses to greater levels of success.
BUSINESS & BREWS
A twist on networking that aims to avoid the transactional feel of typical business card exchanges and help those not fond of “networking” to make solid, better, more real connections.
OUR BELIEFS
WE BELIEVE
Collaboration and innovation are the keys to turning challenges into opportunities to improve our communities and our planet.
WE BELIEVE
Collaboration and innovation thrive in a free and open environment. We must break down walls to end isolation, see beyond status quo, cooperate more, and learn from each other.
WE BELIEVE
The way we work must become more autonomous and flexible, with people independently pursuing their craft, choosing when, where, how, and with whom they work.
WE BELIEVE
Together we can reshape our economy and society through social entrepreneurship and innovation.
