Each month, we curate a list of interesting reads, upcoming events, and other news specifically for Frederick County freelancers, small business owners, and remote workers. We send that, along with words of encouragement to those who have signed up to receive them.

FAQs:
Isn’t this just a newsletter to promote Cowork Frederick?
No. Cowork Frederick members receive a different news email, just for them. While some of the news and events shared are linked to Cowork Frederick (the coworking space), the “Rebels, Renegades, and Remote Workers” newsletter is meant for people beyond the walls of the coworking space. As such, we curate a list of events and news from a variety of sources (government small biz sites, newsletters from other local organizations, reliable bloggers, etc.)
How many people receive the Rebels, Renegades, and Remote Workers email?
There are currently over 500 people on our mailing list.
Can I contribute to the content?
We’re definitely open to the idea. If you have an upcoming event or have written something you think is relevant to our targeted audience (freelancers, small business owners, and/or remote workers in Frederick County), contact us a info@coworkfrederickfoundation.org. We’ll review it and let you know if we agree. If so, we’ll add it to our next newsletter.
I sometimes see ads. Can I advertise my business in your newsletter?
Ads help fund this newsletter, so we welcome ads – as long as they are suitable for our target audience. We carefully curate all content, including ads. If your business serves Frederick County freelancers, small business owners, and/or remote workers, then contact us. Ads cost $25 per newsletter and are limited to 150 characters. We’ll need a logo or other graphic, your 150 characters, and, optionally, a link to your page. Once we have everything, we’ll invoice you for the ad. It will run in the next newsletter after we receive payment.
