WHAT WE DO
Through programs and events, we help Frederick County freelancers, micro business owners, and remote workers connect, learn and grow, personally and professionally. We are not an “incubator” or “accelerator”. Our focus is on the individual, not the business. Our methods aim to foster real connections and trusted relationships out of which grow ideas, collaborations, and, yes, also successful businesses.

EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS
Programs and events like “Brain Boost” lunch and learns provide access to a wide range of business/career-oriented information aimed at helping businesses and people be more successful.

REBEL RESCUE
When faced with an sudden and unexpected loss of income or large expense, the temptation is to pull back, but that’s when people most need to lean in to their trusted community for help. Rebel Rescue covers a portion of the cost of a coworking membership while providing targeted support to help the person address their challenge (for existing Cowork Frederick members only).

SOCIAL/NETWORKING EVENTS
From “Business & Brews” to a “Winter Wonderland Gala”, we provide ways Frederick County freelancers and small business owners can connect in low-pressure, trust-building environments.

IMMERSION PROGRAM
{coming soon} We have plans to give a helping hand to for-profit and not-for-profit social-impact startup or fledgling organizations by covering six months of the entire cost of a Cowork Frederick membership and then 50% of the cost for an additional six months.

NEWSLETTER
Each month, we curate a list of interesting reads, upcoming events, and other news specifically for Frederick County freelancers, small business owners, and remote workers. We send that, along with words of encouragement

CREATIVE ENDEAVORS
From journaling workshops to artist receptions, book signings to maker markets, we host a variety of events throughout the year aimed at helping Frederick County creatives.
