Vicki Favilla’s paintings invoke vital energy and action. The Abstract Expressionism movement and the mid-century period heavily influence her art. Viewers are captivated by her visually striking and emotionally provocative style. Vicki’s work makes no apologies for breaking the rules or trying something innovative and new. About the Artist

Vicki Favilla began her love of art as a child. She had some work published early and won many competitions. After high school, she studied art at Montgomery College. As an adult, she channeled her creative energy into renovating houses, refinishing furniture and her love of gardening. Only in the last several years did she discover she was an abstract artist. She credits her mentor and friend, Calvin “Ed” Ramsburg and his instruction for helping her develop her creative voice. Vicki’s work has been in countless juried exhibits in Maryland, DC, Pennsylvania and New York City. Vicki resides in the City of Frederick. Find her work on Instagram @vfavilla.art or her website.
