“No Need for a Niche”
Jasmine Volante has been a creative her entire life, but truly began pursing the life of an artist during the COVID lockdowns in 2020. Her exhibit “No Need for a Niche” showcases a variety of mediums and subjects, from surreal and realistic acrylic on canvas to illustrated still life in graphite and charcoal. This will be Jasmine’s second show at Cowork Frederick, and we are excited to welcome her back.

All work is for sale. All sale proceeds go to the artist.

LIVE MUSIC 4-7pm
Aidan Ryan loops guitar, bass, keys, drums, and vocals to build songs from scratch. Original singer/songwriter performances mixed with covers of Van Morrison, Radiohead, Fiona Apple, Warren Zevon, and more.
About the Artist
Jasmine Volante is a passionate creator who is focused on helping people seek healing from trauma, identity crisis, and depression through arts, music, crafts, and community. During the COVID-19 lockdowns, she fell in love with creating and expressing herself in a visual way, and her passion to create lights her life in the brightest of ways. Jasmine is pursuing her associate’s degree in the arts at Frederick Community College and expects to graduate in December of 2023. To learn more about Jasmine, go here.

Frederick Artists Night is an event that celebrates local (Frederick County) creativity with an art exhibit and reception and live music on the First Saturday of each month.
